Vehicle ranges are the manufacturers' advertised figures (MIDC for cars, IDC for two-wheelers). Real-world range is usually 15–30% lower, so actual charging units can be higher. Tariffs are taken from current discom bills and include fixed charge, energy charge, FAC, wheeling, taxes and electricity duty. Fuel adjustment charges change month to month, so treat results as an estimate. An EV meter also needs a one-time connection charge and security deposit, which are not included here.
